JOIN THORNBURY MUSICAL THEATRE GROUP

Thornbury Musical Theatre Group is a friendly group and we are always pleased to accept new members. Membership is open to anyone age 16 and over unless a younger person is required to be invited to play a specific part.

If you are interested in joining us on stage, our New Member Secretary will arrange a short and informal audition. Our audition process is rather simple and there is nothing to worry about – we have all done it! We ask for new members who wish to join the group to prepare a short rendition of a song of their choice, followed by a brief monologue. This is purely to see what you can do.

Auditions are being held prior to the launch of any production - which means this gives new members a chance of having the opportunity to be in a production from the launch night of the production.

There are also plenty of opportunities for members to participate and help TMTG behind the scenes. This can include be as stage crew, front of house, set construction, publicity, props, costume - the list goes on. But don't worry - you will be able to tell us all about your hidden talents when you receive your audition invitation.

Thornbury Musical Theatre Group charge  an annual membership subscription fee. This runs from April to April each year.  For each show you choose to be in as a performer, there is an additional production fee, which will be communicated at the start of the rehearsal period. This can change per production based on the type of production we are performing.

So... what are you waiting for? Complete the below Contact Form and our New Member Secretary will be in touch.
