TMTG's summer showcase will take you on a cinematic journey with A Night at the Movies.

With music from a vast variety of films, in the form of power ballads, romantic duets and high-energy dance numbers, you will leave the Armstrong Hall with a smile on your face and your toes still tapping.

TMTG follows on from last year’s Rose Bowl Award-winning pantomime Aladdin with this super-cool offering, especially written for the group by our own Lizzie Lindsell. Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tale of the same name, The Snow Queen is packed with all the traditional fun of the show, with audience participation, hilarious comedy and catchy musical numbers. Plus drama, romance . . . and the occasional tap-dancing penguin. Maybe even a talking snowman or two?

About TMTG

Thornbury Musical Theatre Group (TMTG) is a long established and successful group with a high reputation in amateur theatre. We perform typically 3 shows a year at the Armstrong Hall, starting with a traditional pantomime in the February half term, followed by a concert or review in June and culminating with a main show at the end of October. We regularly perform one off events at other venues or in publicity activities in order to promote the group.

Came and saw this on Friday. Was absolutely brilliant. From the scenery to acting to singing. Just loved it. Thankyou to all involved and bringing a wonderful pantomime to the stage. And also just to mention the young lady who played the snow queen her voice was very impressive and was sung with such feeling. Well done xx
