Have you bought your tickets for "The Wedding Singer" yet? We are performing at the Armstrong Hall in Thornbury from 25th-28th October so there's not long to go. The cast and crew are working so hard to get everything ready and we can't wait to have an audience!

This summer TMTG Juniors bring you CATS.

Based on T. S. Eliot’s “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats” the show is set amongst a larger- than-life junkyard where the Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year – the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories to Old Deuteronomy, their wise and thoughtful leader, who must then choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

The magnificent musical score is composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and includes the poignant hit song ‘Memory’. Since its first performance in 1981 Cats has been enthralling audiences all over the world.

About TMTG

Thornbury Musical Theatre Group (TMTG) is a long established and successful group with a high reputation in amateur theatre. We perform typically 3 shows a year at the Armstrong Hall, starting with a traditional pantomime in the February half term, followed by a concert or review in May/June and culminating with a main show at the end of October. We regularly perform one off events at other venues or in publicity activities in order to promote the group.

Loved last night's youngest is coming to watch the Saturday matinee and enjoyed the arty page in the programme - her patriotic shield!

Well done to all involved! What a fabulously professional production! Some amazing singing voices, actors and actresses, excellent scenery and the orchestra did the show proud too. Excellent all round. Would highly recommend this show to all.

Well what can I say ...without doubt one of the best performances from an amateur group that I have seen ...across the board the performances were stellar ...fantastic singing -acting and really authentic performances that wouldn’t look out of place on a West End stage ...particularly Red Riding Hood and the witch who were just brilliant...well done EVERYONE
